The Veolia North America Baekeland Avenue site is a newly developed 10-day in-transit facility for the efficient management of containerized chemical waste. This facility is a complimentary facility to our fully permitted part B fuels blending plant which is located just 1/2 mile away. The Baekeland Avenue site is home base for Veolia service teams in Central New Jersey. Additionally, this site acts as a distribution point for materials and supplies for all Veolia NJ based operations.
Our 10-day in-transit facility is a distribution center for less than truckload quantities of containerized wastes. These waste materials are delivered from our field services groups and consolidated onto trailers for distribution to our part B facilities where they are transferred to outbound trailers based on technology and/or specific disposal locations.
The Baekeland Avenue site is capable of handling a wide range of waste types and was specifically designed and developed to create maximum efficiency for our clients in Central NJ.
